Adolfina Koroch received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina where she conducted research on the physiology and tissue culture of endangered aromatic plants from Central Argentina. In 2001, she came to the United States as visiting scientist at Rutgers University (NJ) to conduct research on the in vitro culture, molecular biology, and chemistry of bioactive components of native US medicinal plants. In 2010, Dr. Koroch joined the City University of New York and studies the production and accumulation of natural products and biological activities of medicinal plants. She continues to collaborate with the Department of Plant Biology at Rutgers University.
